The challenge aims to expose techniques and intelligent systems that support the definition of vehicle characteristics suitable for the user profile in online platforms. Despite all the features on car ecommerce sites, many users find it difficult to find the ideal car that best suits their daily lives, even though there are many filters to find vehicles, those use only technical terms that may be unknown to the user. Bibliographic research was carried out on topics about artificial
intelligence, expert systems and e-commerce, with the aim of obtaining information about the industry. The results showed that systems of this type facilitate the choice of the consumer, who for some reason does not have the time or knowledge to make an optimal choice though traditional method.
